Restored 1971 Honda QA50 For Sale $8500

Professionally Restored Honda QA50 for sale. The motor, frame, tank and muffler are all original to the bike. There is no detail overlooked on this restoration even the parts you can’t see have been restored. If your looking for a premium QA50 this might be the one for you!

The motor has been completely rebuilt. It has been disassembled, inspected and vapor honed. The motor was brought back to original specifications. The piston rings were replaced, valves replaced and relapped. The second gear fix was purchased NOS and installed into the motor. All bolts, screws, nuts and washers are assumed to be original. They were all reconditioned and zinc plated. One head bolt was replaced and was found NOS. All of the gaskets were replaced and the original carburetor was rebuilt. All appropriate carburetor parts were zinc plated.

The frame is original to the motorcycle. The frame was repaired of any cosmetic damage amd sandblasted. The frame and forks were powder coated the correct color for the motorcycle. All bolts, nuts, screws and washers assumed to be original. They were all reconditioned, sandblasted and zinc plated.

The gas tank is original to the bike. The interior of the tank has been cleaned and all rust removed. The restoration consisted of sandblasting the tank, two coats of urethane primer, three coats of Gypsy yellow paint and three coats of clear. The tank cap is original and has been re-chromed. A NOS petcock has been installed. All hoses replaced with genuine Honda fuel lines.

The wheels have been completely restored. They were disassembled and powder coated the correct color. All of the bearings and seals were replaced as well as the brake shoes. All of the bolts, nuts and hardware have been reconditioned, sandblasted and zinc plated.

The bike currently has a set of original QA50 tires installed. The condition is fair to poor. I have  installed these to test ride the bike. The sale includes NOS Cheng Shin tires.

Seat assembly is original. It has been powder coated with new foam and cover installed.

The tool set is under the seat and includes the air joint. The fork slides are original and have been restored and zinc plated as original. The handle bars have been re-chromed along with the gear shifter. The kickstarter is NOS. The air cleaner is original and has been zinc plated. The kill switch is NOS. All cables were replaced.
